Most insurance companies provide at least partial coverage for mental and behavioral health services. If you would like to work with Bee Happy Therapy, please contact your insurance company to ensure Katherine Collins, LCSW, is a preferred provider in your network. If you are not able to use your insurance, direct payment is accepted.

If you have never scheduled a therapy session before, here is some information that may help you understand
the process better and feel more comfortable. 
People schedule appointments for various reasons. Some are going through major life changes such as loss of a loved one, divorce, or recovering from an injury. Others find the benefit of talking with someone in a private, confidential, setting to be helpful as they set new goals and work toward a change, such as finding a new job. What ever the reason, statistics show the benefits of therapy, as the American Psychological Association states,  "Psychotherapy has been shown to improve emotions and behaviors and to be linked with positive changes in the brain and body. The benefits also include fewer sick days, less disability, fewer medical problems, and increased work satisfaction." (1) 

Most people meet with their therapist once a week for a few months. The best results occur when sessions are attended regularly, clients are willing to try new coping strategies, and are open and honest with their therapist. The goal of therapy is to provide you with
